Research Interests

Our group is working on the development of novel T-cell based immunotherapies in cancer patients. We are focusing on the identification of suitable target structures on malignant cells, especially neoantigens, as well as the identification and characterization of T cells and T-cell receptors recognizing such neoantigens. One major aim is thereby the clinical translation of neoantigen-specific adoptive T cell therapies as well as the development of combinatorial approaches. In addition, the group works on the development of novel imaging strategies to track tumor-reactive T cells in vivo.
